One of “America's Best Jewelers,” RMJ (Ralph Miller Jewelers & Gallery) has a very rich history in the Erie, Pennsylvania Region. It is the oldest, largest and only National Awarded Manufacturing Jeweler in the area and we would be honored to be your jeweler. This unique store has been in continuous operations since 1898. It was originally named at inception: The Northwestern PA Silver Exchange which later became Beyer Jewelers, then Summerhoff’s and finally Ralph Miller Jewelers & Gallery ever since 1952. It’s an extremely dynamic store maintaining the old school “European Traditions” of a guild style facility, (an actual working jewelry store and manufacturer) with 5 master goldsmiths on the premise specializing in designing and manufacturing one-of-a-kind heirlooms with all custom designing & castings, manufacturing and repairs all done “in house.” Since its inception this store has realized that unique merchandise and great outstanding personal service has never gone out of style or fashion in surviving for over a century with the simple keys of trust and integrity within the community. The client base is both jewelry retailers and customers from all over the world. RMJ is known as “The Jeweler’s Jeweler,” and Erie’s only actual manufacturing jeweler specializing in single custom pieces or runs to 10 thousand.

Located in the historic heart of downtown Erie, PA, this store could have followed the trends of USA and other overseas mass marketing big box jewelry corporate retailers that focused on mass produced jewelry. But in order to maintain the highest quality and trust to the thousands of loyal customers, this store decided to maintain and devote their talents to developing a very special store with unique one of a kind original fine jewelry creations. Each loose gem buying season presents the opportunity for our talented RMJ craftsmen and jewelry artisans to search the world to hand select and acquire some of the most unique and beautiful diamonds & gems for custom jewelry that are currently available. This organization is dedicated to upholding their historic tradition in their community of specialists in fine diamonds, diamond setting, manufacturing and museum quality restoration of fine gold, platinum and silver jewelry. The staff is dedicated to continuing the RMJ traditions of the “best” service, quality & integrity available, and indeed – can do it all to meet your needs using traditional as well as the most modern equipment and technology available.

•We inspect every stone we sell.
•We offer highly trained associates to assist you in your search for your special item.
•We grade all of our stones very strictly.
•We have been in business for over 100 years and we have a century of tradition of trust, confidence and fairness.
•We can import directly from our sources in Johannesburg, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, etc., for your special needs of unusual colored diamonds or diamonds over 3 carats.
•We only sell well-proportioned stones.
•We sell only faceted or polished girdle diamonds.
•We offer a trade up policy to all of our diamond patrons.
•We sell Certified stones: GIA, EGL, AGL, ARGLE, etc.
•We are members of the Retail Jewelers Association of America as well as the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, bound to uphold integrity, trust and honesty to all of our patrons.
WE DO NOT:
•We do not sell laser drilled, quality enhanced or whitened stones.
•We do not sell poorly-cut stones with major differences in facet alignment and girdle thickness.
•We will not sell any diamonds that we've had to sacrifice one of the "C" to increase our profit margin.
•We do not sell stones that we do not know the source of.
